Emergency Campaign for Essential Safety Gear!!!
Two young, brave IDF soldiers were killed and eight more wounded in a shooting attack in the Jordan Valley when a terrorist wearing a bulletproof vest and armed with an M-16 assault rifle, ambushed two soldiers at 6:00 a.m. when they were changing shifts. The terrorist got into the compound, opened fire and a gunbattle ensued between him and the nearby forces.
Hatzalah of Judea and Samaria was on the scene in just minutes. But we were tragically delayed in being able to bring emergency rescue services because we did not have enough of the necessary safety gear for our volunteers. Only one medic was initially allowed in to treat the wounded because only he had a helmet and bulletproof vest.
This equipment isn’t a luxury. It is absolutely necessity, and the only way we can save lives in this kind of horrific situation while a firefight is still in progress!
Each set costs $1100 to procure, and we need 1000 of them. Today, we are pleading for your emergency help to purchase 250 sets so that our brave volunteers can continue to save others with minimal risk to their own lives.
